about loss of licence insurance

Put simply, loss of licence insurance provides financial protection if you suffer an injury or illness that prevents you working as a pilot due to suspension of your Class 1 medical certificate.

We offer two types of benefit; permanent loss of licence pays a lump sum benefit if you are unlikely to return to flying and temporary loss of licence provides a monthly benefit if you lose your licence temporarily or permanently. Most pilots prefer both types of benefit to pay off larger loans and shorter-term monthly expenses

Our policy is available to pilots on an individual basis or you can buy our cover as an additional ‘top up’ to an existing group policy's coverage. Individual cover allows portability of your policy should your employment or membership change, which means no gaps in cover.

Your income is one of your most valuable assets, how would you manage financial commitments if your medical certificate was suspended?

why choose us?

mental health cover

Professional pilots face occupational stressors every day such as irregular work schedules, work/life balance, fatigue, disruption of sleep and increased anxiety from having to take regular medical tests. However, many pilots are not properly insured, and you’ll find most plans have a full exclusion, only pay claims resulting from defined conditions or reduce the benefit payable. We know the importance of offering the widest coverage possible.
